Most people expect onboarding with an accounting firm to feel like a trip to the DMV. Long forms. Endless document requests. A bunch of questions about things you probably don’t remember anyway. That is not how we do it at DanG Financial. Our onboarding process starts with a simple 20 to 30 minute call. No marathon meetings and no accounting interrogation. Just a quick conversation so we can understand how your business actually runs.

During that call, we walk through the basics. What accounting software do you use, if any. How payroll is handled. What banks and credit cards are involved. Who prepares your taxes. We also ask about any other software your business relies on. The point is not to make things complicated. We are simply mapping out the financial ecosystem of your business so we know where everything lives.

We do not expect you to show up with every document ready or every login memorized. Most business owners are busy running their companies. That is exactly how it should be. This call just gives us a high level picture of your setup so we know what we are walking into and where things may need to be cleaned up or improved.

Once we understand the landscape, we take it from there. We gather the access we need, organize the accounts, and build a system that keeps your books running smoothly each month. Our goal is to make the financial side of your business something you do not have to think about very often.

At the end of the day the process is simple. One short call gives us the information we need to get started. After that you can focus on running your business while we take care of the numbers.
